This home family reconstruction DNA testing kit is a simple peace of mind test, which includes everything you need to take a DNA sample in the comfort of your own home. The test examines a minimum of 23 DNA markers to establish relationships such as grandparents, aunt/uncles and in certain cases, cousins.
Your DNA test results are issued within 7-10 working days once samples arrives at the laboratory and you will be updated of the testing status at every step. Full support is offered and we are fully ISO:17025 accredited and ISO: 9001 certified.
Every family reconstruction test is confidential and we will send the test to the provided address in a discrete style of packaging to uphold client confidentiality. If you have any concerns, our dedicated team will be happy to help you.
Please note that peace of mind DNA testing is not legally admissible in court as there is no chain of custody procedure.

How does a family reconstruction test work?
A family reconstruction test identifies the genetic relationship between two people that are expected to be related in a specific way, i.e. aunt and niece. DNA Family conduct family reconstruction tests by using a mouth swab to quickly and painlessly collect a DNA sample.
These samples of DNA are then examined, and will determine if the tested people have enough matching DNA to have a biological relationship. The testing procedure compares DNA markers and this comparison can determine how closely related they are.

Receive Results

Paternity/Maternity test results will be issued within 3-5 working days once samples arrive at the laboratory. Complex tests will be issued in 10 working days.
