This home maternity testing kit is a simple peace of mind test, which includes everything you need to take a DNA sample in the comfort of your own home. The test examines a minimum of 23 DNA markers, with dual testing for 100% accuracy when determining a biological relationship between a mother and child.
Your DNA test results are issued within 3-5 working days once your sample arrives at the laboratory and you will be updated of the testing status at every step. Full support is offered and we are fully ISO:17025 accredited and ISO: 9001 certified.
Every maternity test is confidential and we will send the test to the provided address in a discrete style of packaging to uphold client confidentiality. If you have any concerns, our dedicated team will be happy to help you.
Please note that peace of mind DNA testing is not legally admissible in court as there is no chain of custody procedure.

How does a maternity test work?
A maternity test identifies the genetic relationship between a woman who is the alleged mother and a child. DNA Family conduct maternity tests by using a mouth swab to quickly and painlessly collect a DNA sample.
These samples of DNA are then examined, and will determine if the mother and child have enough matching DNA to have a biological relationship. The testing procedure compares DNA markers and this comparison can determine how closely related they are.

Collect Samples

Collect each participant's DNA sample using a painless mouth swab and sign consent for testing.
Send samples to Lab

Using the prepaid return envelope, send the samples back to our laboratory for analysis.
Receive Results

Paternity/Maternity test results will be issued within 3-5 working days once samples arrive at the laboratory. Complex tests will be issued in 10 working days.
